How much can you carry?
This series of 45 portraits printed on wood has gradually spread to the four continents. Through these photographs with front framing, the artist draws up the portrait of these carriers from the four corners of the world, proposing to each one to put himself on stage with what he has dearest. The models took the pose, happy to put themselves on stage, proud to highlight what often resembles their only wealth. In filigree, the artist also talks about the weight of traditions, society and family. The photos were taken using support ropes, which were then digitally erased. These portraits that punctuate the path of Megève’s Calvary resonate with this sacred place, inviting the walker to philosophize on what everyone wears on their back with passion and patience.
