Built in the second half of the 13th century, the church of Evian belongs to the first Savoyard Gothic art. Rebuilt and restored in the following centuries, its Romano-Byzantine façade was built in 1930. The nave houses a contemporary Way of the Cross, the work of the Evian painter Pierre Christin.

Built in the second half of the 13th century, under the reign of Count Peter II of Savoy, the church belongs to the first Savoyard Gothic art. The building underwent major renovations in the late 14th or early 15th century, followed by several restoration campaigns between the 17th and 20th centuries. The most important date of 1926, the nave is then extended by two bays towards the West. It was on this date that the current portal with triangular pediment of Romano-Bysantin style was created. The semicircular bell tower was surmounted by a high stone spire, which was replaced in 1823 and adorns the current lantern.
