The archives of Ecole are spread from 1803 to 1962. They consist in particular of a beautiful series of registers of deliberations. They contain interesting files on forests (including that of Bellevaux), on the paths and the road of the Col du Frêne. The documents relating to the sale of communal property recall the importance of these common lands and pastures in the local agricultural economy. The budgets and accounts allow us to assess the evolution of municipal investments.Four partners, the municipality of Ecole, Grand Chambéry, the CGFPT of Savoie and the Department, have committed themselves to the preservation of the School archives, their transmission and understanding. All recognize that they are precious and unique.
