Église Saint-Florentin
7 Rue du Château, 55130 Bonnet
Built from the 13th to the 15th century, the church was the subject of work of «fortification» in the 14th century in order to play a role of defense of the inhabitants of the village as was the case of many churches in the Meuse and in the surroundings of Metz.
Composed essentially of three quite different parts (choir, nave and bell tower), the ensemble is articulated to give this astonishing and imposing monument whose bell tower could be a real castle tower while the choir sees flourish the Gothic style that opens it to light.
The building is classified as a Historical Monument in 1909.
