À propos du lieu

Musée Henri Mathieu - Ancienne Synagogue
3 Rue Jean et Simone Lurçat, 88600 Bruyères
  • Vosges
  • Grand Est
The building(ship) in sandstone of Vosges was built thanks to the financing of a sponsor, Daniel Osiris, for the Jewish community of Heathers. The old(former) synagogue, built in 1902, makes the object of a registration(inscription) in conformance with(for) Historic monuments since July 16th, 1991\. She(It) benefits therefore from the label «Heritage of the XXth century». The museum shelters mainly collections concerning popular arts, Judaism and works of Jean Lurçat born in Heathers.
