Located in Malancourt-la-Montagne, the Jaumont quarry extends over 200 hectares at the banks of Roncourt, Saint-Privat-la-Montagne, Malancourt-la-Montagne and Marange-Silvange.
Although the main activity of the quarry is concentrated on the production of limestone crushers, the production of cut stone is also a reference sector of activity. Used since the Middle Ages, this stone has particularly shaped the Messina region: the Cathedral of Metz is the most perfect example.
