Chapelle Saint-Nicolas de Buguélès
Buguélès rue du Port,22710, Penvénan
In its present state, it is presented as a rectangular building, surrounded to the south and west by a enclosure containing a cemetery. The exact date of its first construction is unknown, but lies at the heart of the Middle Ages. The building was badly damaged during the civil wars of the sixteenth century. The present chapel, whose construction style indicates the sixteenth century with reemployment of earlier windows, was probably completely rebuilt at that time. Interior improvements continued during part of the 17th century. The baluster separating the choir from the nave dates from 1649\. Outside the chapel, one can admire a calvary erected in 1516.
