Chapelle Saint-Gonval
Pen Crec'h, 22710, Penvénan
The current chapel was built in 1914-1915 in the location of a chapel re-built at the heart of the Middle Ages following the primitive(initial) monastery destroyed during the Scandinavian incursions of the beginning of the Xth century. The inside is of great interest. Indeed, during the reconstruction of 1914, the old(former) furniture was carefully kept(preserved), what still allows to admire between others: a magnificent piéta wooden of the XIIth century, a statue of Notre-Dame of Hope and statue of Saint-Yvi both of the XVIth century.
