Today members of the District council Vologne-Durbion, Viménil and Méménil were a part both of the proclamation(round of applause) of Dompierre. Viménil, characterised by the sources(springs), possesses a church devoted to saint Jacques Person over 18 (1771). The church of Assomption-de-la-Vierge-de-Méménil (1858) undergoes the bombardments of 1944: stained-glass windows and bells are then destroyed.
