The abbey Notre-Dame of Droiteval is an old(former) female abbey of based(established) in 1130 by the Lord Aubert of Darney. The abbey was girl of Morimond. 1426 is the year of the presence of the last abbess then interim abandonment(relinquishment) of the abbey which becomes a priory in 1450\. In 1792 takes place the sale of the domain of Droiteval for 28 000 books(pounds) to Joseph Drouot a farmer of Darney and in 1796 Louis Alexis Irroy de Fontenoy-le-Château acquires(buys back) him(it) to create a smithy of steel in the old(former) mill of the monks. The church serves as warehouse, the priory and dependences(outbuildings) serve housing for the workers. Repurchase in 1816 by Jean Baptiste Jacquinot to make a factory of forgery and which, progressively, will become a real industrial empire. 1850 sees the complete restoration(catering) of the church and on 1905 a new restoration(catering) of the priory and of the church. A small seminary(seminar) settles down there in 1935\. Droiteval becomes again entirely a family property in 1987 and in 2000 is inaugurated in the church an organ Haerpfer compound(made up) of 51 games(sets) and 3 800 pipes(tips), in former days installed(settled) in the room Poirel in Nancy. In 2004 the transfer of a part(party) of heritage takes place or settle down several painters and sculptors.
