Seit ihrem gallo-römischen Ursprung, die Stadt von Grenoble, die ehemalige Hauptstadt der Dauphiné, die an Frankreich 1349 angebunden worden ist, hat eine an eine originale Vergangenheit gleicherweise(gleichzeitig) gebundene Expansion zivil, religiös und militärisch gekannt. Puis c’est la place Grenette avec la fontaine de Lavalette et l’église Saint-Louis, bâtie en 1688. La visite se poursuit avec les hauts lieux de la grand rue, comme la maison natale de Saint François Régis Clet (1748-1820) et celle de Philippine Duchesne (1769-1852). La rue Brocherie nous révèlera ensuite les hôtels de Crouys-Chanel et de Buchere. Nous terminerons l’itinéraire par la place Notre-Dame avec le monument du centenaire de la Révolution dauphinoise (1788-1888), l’ensemble cathédrale avec retour rue Chenoise .
