Jewel(Flagship) of architecture Art nouveau in Nancy, the Villa Majorelle is built in 1902-1903 by the architect Henry Sauvage, for one of the masters(teachers) of the School of Nancy, the cabinet maker and draftsman Louis Majorelle. The building includes the Iconic Houses network which lists the emblematic modern architectures of their time(period) and also represents the City of Nancy within the Network Art nouveau Network which promotes and heritage European Art nouveau. She(It) is listed(classified) among historic monuments in 1996.
