The house known as 'de Marie Walewska', was rented by Napoleon I from 1811 to 1812 to provide intimacy with his young mistress. The long-forgotten residence was listed in the Inventory of National Monuments in 1986\. Externally intact but emptied of its contents, it nevertheless retains tangible signs of the development of the rich residence that it was. The house is now offered for rent by the town hall of Boulogne-Billancourt for the organization of cultural or private events.
