An original musical comedy, with powerful and original music about the destinies of three women under the German occupation in northern France during the Great War.
The poignant story of Louise de Bettignies, Léonie Vanhoutte and Marguerite Roland, three ordinary women whose fates are changed by the arrival of the German troops. While Louise, a brilliant polyglot, runs a daring espionage network under the name of Alice Dubois, Léonie, a courageous nurse, puts her life in danger to save French soldiers. Marguerite, a young romantic, sees her youth shattered by conflict and finds herself torn between her fear and the forbidden love she has for Marius, a deserter she hides. Each, in its own way, faces the dilemmas of a merciless war where courage and sacrifice are mixed.
This vibrant show pays tribute to these three unsung heroines, who have made their mark in history and whose deeds still resonate today. Between drama, suspense and original music, he reveals a forgotten part of history books and explores heroism in the feminine with emotion and intensity. A powerful ode to the resilience and greatness of these fighters."
