After two years of work, the Château des Rubins – Observatoire des Alpes opened its doors in July 2021 on an innovative scenography consisting of fifty interactive modules divided into four floors and as many themes: 1° geology, 2° fauna and flora, 3° man and mountains, 4° water is an environmental issue. The new route covers more than 500m2 for a visit of about two hours in an immersive light and sound environment. The information is light, but precise and distributed in three languages: French, English and Italian. The castle team also offers a wide range of activities and workshops for families.
The «Rubinoscopes» Short animations of about fifteen minutes are provided daily by passionate mediators. These «Rubinoscopes» are small experiences and do not require reservation. These pastilles are offered at no extra charge at the entrance price in a spirit very «C'est pas sorcier» or «Art d'Art».
