Saturday and Sunday, at 4 PM, guided tour of the garden (about 90 minutes). Geneviève, owner, self-taught gardener, will be your guide. Without reservation. The theme 2026 - the view - will be developed over the course. . . "Various views of the garden": seen and invisible, seeing and planning. With Gilbert her husband, they created the garden exactly 40 years ago, composing with the existing, with the environment and in a search for discreet staging. With also the will to preserve the ecological balance of the place. Participation € free

Nestled in a small valley between Limousin and Auvergne, the garden was created by Geneviève and Gilbert Serve in 1985\. Amateur gardeners delicately integrate it into the surrounding countryside by favoring endemic species. Given the sometimes very harsh climate, plants are chosen for their resistance to cold or drought. The adventure begins with the drawing of the garden whose proportions are in harmony with those of the dwelling house. Over the years and experiences, it becomes a real setting for the building. When, in 2000, it opened its doors to the public, 13 landscape scenes around a central parterre lined with boxwood offer different atmospheres with varied textures and colors. The grass-covered traffic lanes provide softness and silence to each of our steps. Human intervention really reveals itself in the space of Japanese-inspired inspiration while nature seems to reign everywhere. The composition contributes to the incessant back and forth of the gaze between the massifs, whether wild or structured, and the views offered towards the outside.

Located 9 km from Ussel, the garden has parking 50 meters from the entrance, accessible to light vehicles and buses. People with reduced mobility can complete the visit in full, but an accompaniment is recommended due to slight slopes.
