Anlässlich der 42. Ausgabe der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes ehrt das Museum den Künstler in Residenz Simon Geneste mit der Eröffnung seiner Ausstellung LEZOULLYWOOD.
Drei Monate lang erkundete er die versiegelten Keramiken des Museums und betrachtete diese Sammlungen neu. Er sah keine starren Gegenstände, sondern Vasen aus bewegten Dekorationen. Daraus entstand eine Frage, die sowohl witzig als auch einsichtig war: Ob die Gallo-Römer die Vorfahren des Kinos waren? Betreten Sie die grenzenlose Vorstellungskraft unseres Künstlers und stellen Sie sich dieser Theorie mit zahlreichen Aktivitäten für Jung und Alt gegenüber, um alleine, mit der Familie oder unter Freunden zu leben!
Auf dem Programm stehen Workshops und Vorführungen, in denen Sie Ihre eigenen Vorfilmgeräte entdecken und realisieren können. Zootrope, Thaumatrope, Flip-Book, Zauberlaterne und andere animierte Objekte werden keine Geheimnisse mehr für Sie haben.
Sie haben die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem Künstler zu treffen und auszutauschen. Simon wird Ihnen das Ergebnis seiner Überlegungen bei einem humorvollen Rundgang durch seine Ausstellung vorstellen. Die wissenschaftliche Leiterin des Museums wird Ihnen diese berühmten Sammlungen in Bewegung zeigen.
Setzen Sie sich wie ein antiker Star in einem gallo-römischen Studio auf die Bühne. Sie können versuchen, Objekte aus der Vorfilmzeit zu gewinnen, die von Simon Geneste signiert wurden.

For the 42nd edition of the European Heritage Days, the museum is honoring Simon Geneste, artist in residence, with the opening of his exhibition LEZOULLYWOOD.
For three months, he explored the museum’s sigillata ceramics by taking a fresh look at these collections. He did not see frozen objects, but vases composed of moving decorations. From there, a question germinated, both funny and insightful, and if the Gallo-Romans were the ancestors of cinema? Enter into the limitless imagination of our artist and in turn confront this theory through multiple activities for young and old, to live alone, with family or friends!
On the program, workshops and demonstrations will allow you to discover and create your own pre-cinema devices. Zootrope, thaumatrope, flip-book, magic lantern and other image animation objects will no longer have any secrets for you.
You will have the opportunity to meet and exchange with the artist. Simon will present the result of his reflections during a walk full of humor to discover his exhibition. The museum’s scientific manager will introduce you to these famous moving collections.
Strike the pose like an ancient star, for a photo session in the Gallo-Roman studio. You can try to win pre-cinema items, signed by Simon Geneste.

Per tre mesi ha esplorato le ceramiche sigillate del museo, osservando da un nuovo punto di vista queste collezioni. Lui non ha visto oggetti fissi, ma vasi composti da decori in movimento. Da qui è nata una domanda, divertente e perspicace, se i gallo-romani fossero gli antenati del cinema? Entra nella fantasia senza limiti del nostro artista e a tua volta confrontati con questa teoria attraverso molteplici attività per grandi e piccini, da vivere da soli, in famiglia o tra amici!
