⛪ Chapel of the Hotel-Dieu
Built in 1639 by the Visitandines, this 17th century chapel was decorated in 1742 by an Italian artist. In 1766, an architect is commissioned to restore gildings and sculptures damaged by lightning.
The rich and astonishing decoration was then completed by the sisters of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul (icons) and by the painter Léon Alègre (scenes of life).
👉 The chapel, usually closed to the public, only opens for special occasions.

Edificata nel 1639 dalle Visitandine, questa cappella del XVII secolo fu decorata nel 1742 da un artista italiano. Nel 1766, un architetto è incaricato di riprendere dorature e sculture danneggiate dal fulmine.
La decorazione ricca e sorprendente è stata poi completata dalle suore di San Vincenzo de' Paoli (icone) e dal pittore Léon Alègre (scene di vita).
👉 La cappella, solitamente chiusa al pubblico, apre solo per occasioni eccezionali.

La décoration riche et étonnante a ensuite été complétée par les sœurs de Saint-Vincent-de-Paul (icônes) et par le peintre Léon Alègre (scènes de vie).
👉 La chapelle, habituellement fermée au public, n’ouvre que pour des occasions exceptionnelles.
