La paroisse orthodoxe de Belfort a été fondée en 1927 par des Russes qui, fuyant la révolution bolchévique, se sont installés dans la région. L’église, construite dans les années 1990 selon la tradition orthodoxe, est ornée de fresques. Son clocher à bulbe témoigne de l’influence de l’identité russe.
