Besuch, kommentiert von Patrice Godard, verantwortlich für die Aufwertung des kulturellen Erbes der Universität Paris-Saclay, begleitet von zwei professionellen Musikern, Célestine Asselin und Thomas Cordero,
Das wissenschaftliche Projekt von NeuroPSI basiert auf einem multidisziplinären und mehrskaligen Ansatz für das Nervensystem. NeuroPSI profitiert im Jahr 2025 von drei außergewöhnlichen Spenden der jeweiligen Berechtigten der Bildhauer Michel Charpentier, René Coutelle und Claude Mercier, die NeuroPSI zu einem echten Kunstzentrum machen, das drei wichtigen Künstlern des späten 20. Jahrhunderts gewidmet ist.
Pionier des Zements in der Skulptur, Michel Charpentier schafft eine visionäre und humanistische Welt, die teilweise von einem persönlichen Alltag inspiriert ist, der von seinen Erfahrungen unter dem Druck einer Vorstellung genützt wird, die nicht ohne Humor und Zärtlichkeit ist.
Im Anschluss an Brancusi, Zadkine und Manolo entdeckt René Coutelle die einfache Poesie in der primitiven und natürlichen Schönheit wieder, die er in der romanischen Kunst, der karibischen Kunst, der afrikanischen Kunst und der Khmer-Kunst beobachtet, die für ihn Vorbilder der Menschlichkeit bleiben. Marmor, Onyx, Serpentin, Alabaster, Granit, exotische Hölzer tragen eine dem "gerechten Gefühl" innewohnende Kraft.
Claude Mercier baut seine plastische Sprache mit Metall (Messing, Kupfer, Nickel, Stahl, Bronze) für architektonische Volumen auf, die ihn dazu führen werden, zahlreiche Skulpturen im Freien und Aufträge im Rahmen des I% zu realisieren. Seit Anfang der 1950er Jahre war er aktiv an der Renaissance der Metallplastik nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg beteiligt. Dieser Künstler, der insbesondere in den Sammlungen des MoMA vertreten ist, sieht nun seinen Bestiar permanent bei NeuroPSI ausgestellt.

The NeuroPSI scientific project revolves around a multidisciplinary and multi-scale approach to the nervous system. NeuroPSI benefits in 2025 from three exceptional donations from the respective beneficiaries of sculptors Michel Charpentier, René Coutelle and Claude Mercier, who make NeuroPSI a true art center dedicated to three important artists of the late 20th century.
Pioneer of cement in sculpture, Michel Charpentier creates a visionary and humanist world inspired in part by a personal daily life nourished by his experiences under the pressure of an imaginary not devoid of humor and tenderness.
Following in the footsteps of Brancusi, Zadkine and Manolo, René Coutelle rediscovers simple poetry in the primitive and natural beauty he observes in Romanesque art, Caribbean art, African art and Khmer art, which remain for him models of humanity. Marble, onyx, serpentine, alabaster, granite, and exotic woods carry a strength inherent in "their right feeling"
Claude Mercier builds his plastic language with metal (brass, copper, nickel, steel, bronze) for architectural volumes that will lead him to make many outdoor sculptures and commissions as part of the I%. From the early fifties, he took an active part in the revival of metal sculpture after the second world war. Present notably in the MoMA collections, this artist now sees his bestiary permanently exhibited at NeuroPSI.

Il progetto scientifico di NeuroPSI si basa su un approccio multidisciplinare e multi-scala al sistema nervoso. NeuroPSI beneficia nel 2025 di tre eccezionali donazioni dei rispettivi aventi diritto degli scultori Michel Charpentier, René Coutelle e Claude Mercier, che fanno di NeuroPSI un vero e proprio centro d'arte dedicato a tre importanti artisti della fine del XX secolo.
Pioniere del cemento nella scultura, Michel Charpentier crea un mondo visionario e umanistico ispirato in parte da una vita quotidiana personale alimentata dalle sue esperienze sotto la pressione di un immaginario non privo di umorismo e tenerezza.
Dopo Brancusi, Zadkine, Manolo, René Coutelle riscopre la poesia semplice nella bellezza primitiva e naturale che osserva nell'arte romanica, nell'arte caraibica, nell'arte africana e nell'arte khmer che per lui restano modelli di umanità. Il marmo, l'onice, la serpentina, l'alabastro, il granito, i legni esotici sono portatori di una forza insita nel "loro giusto sentimento"
Claude Mercier costruisce il suo linguaggio plastico con il metallo (ottone, rame, nichel, acciaio, bronzo) per volumi architettonici che lo porteranno a realizzare numerose sculture all'aperto e ordini nell'ambito dell'I%. All'inizio degli anni cinquanta, prese parte alla rinascita della scultura in metallo dopo la seconda guerra mondiale. Presente in particolare nelle collezioni del MoMA, questo artista vede ora il suo bestiario esposto in modo permanente a NeuroPSI.

Le projet scientifique de NeuroPSI s’articule autour d’une approche multidisciplinaire et multi-échelle du système nerveux. NeuroPSI bénéficie en 2025 de trois donations exceptionnelles des ayants droit respectifs des sculpteurs Michel Charpentier, René Coutelle et Claude Mercier, qui font de NeuroPSI un véritable centre d’art dédié à trois artistes importants de la fin du 20eme siècle.
Pionnier du ciment en sculpture, Michel Charpentier crée un monde visionnaire et humaniste inspiré en partie par un quotidien personnel nourri de ses expériences sous la pression d’un imaginaire non dénué d’humour et de tendresse.
A la suite de Brancusi, de Zadkine, de Manolo, René Coutelle redécouvre la poésie simple dans la beauté primitive et naturelle qu’il observe dans l’art roman, l’art des Caraïbes, l’art africain et l’art khmer qui restent pour lui des modèles d’humanité. Le marbre, l’onyx, la serpentine, l’albâtre, le granit, les bois exotiques sont porteurs d’une force inhérente à « leur sentiment juste »
Claude Mercier construit son langage plastique avec le métal (laiton, cuivre, nickel, acier, bronze) pour des volumes architecturés qui l’amèneront à réaliser de nombreuses sculptures en plein air et des commandes dans le cadre du I%. Dès le début des années cinquante, il prend une part active à la renaissance de la sculpture de métal après la seconde guerre mondiale. Présent notamment dans les collections du MoMA, cet artiste voit désormais son bestiaire exposé de façon permanente à NeuroPSI .

NeuroPSI se beneficia en 2025 de tres donaciones excepcionales de los respectivos derechohabientes de los escultores Michel Charpentier, René Coutelle y Claude Mercier, que hacen de NeuroPSI un verdadero centro de arte dedicado a tres artistas importantes de finales del siglo XX.
Pionero del cemento en la escultura, Michel Charpentier crea un mundo visionario y humanista inspirado en parte por una vida diaria personal alimentada por sus experiencias bajo la presión de un imaginario no desprovisto de humor y ternura.
Tras Brancusi, Zadkine y Manolo, René Coutelle redescubre la poesía simple en la belleza primitiva y natural que observa en el arte románico, el arte del Caribe, el arte africano y el arte jemer que para él siguen siendo modelos de humanidad. El mármol, el ónix, la serpentina, el alabastro, el granito y las maderas exóticas son portadores de una fuerza inherente a «su justo sentimiento»
Claude Mercier construye su lenguaje plástico con el metal (latón, cobre, níquel, acero, bronce) para volúmenes arquitectónicos que le llevarán a realizar numerosas esculturas al aire libre y encargos en el marco del I%. Desde principios de los años cincuenta, tomó parte activa en el renacimiento de la escultura de metal después de la segunda guerra mundial. Presente sobre todo en las colecciones del MoMA, este artista ve ahora su bestiario expuesto de forma permanente en NeuroPSI .
