These poetic works, created in 2020, reflect the artist’s interest in Japan where he has been working since his first solo exhibition in Tokyo in 2004.
These works of Guillaume Bottazzi are part of a global approach integrating different parameters specific to the places where they integrate, such as the distribution of spaces, colors around or materials.
The chiaroscuro and evanescent forms of these creations invite us to travel in an unreal universe. They create a poetic, enchanting space that evolves according to our imagination. They can modulate our neurons and allow us to distance ourselves from things.
These works are immersive, partly because of the reflexive nature of the material. They are made with enamels, a natural material reduced to powder composed of different minerals.
