This museum offers an immersion in the history of manufacturing and printing techniques for cardboard boxes in Valréas, recognized as the French capital of cardboard from the mid-19th century to today. Through a rich journey, it traces the evolution of an industrial know-how closely linked to the economic and artistic development of the territory. The collections bring together machines, tools, cardboard boxes, lithographic labels as well as a large collection of iconographic documents. They testify to the diversity and creativity of productions intended for many sectors, such as pharmaceuticals, jewellery, confectionery or even perfumery.
