Nach vier Jahren umfangreicher Renovierungsarbeiten wurde das Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers, das nationale Schauspielzentrum, im vergangenen Dezember wiedereröffnet. Der von der norwegischen Agentur Snøhetta unterzeichnete neue Ort fügt sich sowohl in das Grün als auch in den städtischen Raum ein und bekräftigt gleichzeitig seine Verankerung in der Stadt Nanterre.
Die Räume des Theaters wurden neu gestaltet und die Ausstattung erneuert, um den Anforderungen der zeitgenössischen Schöpfung gerecht zu werden. Der große Saal behält seinen Rang als Amphitheater bei und sorgt so für eine einzigartige Nähe zur Bühne. Der wandelbare Raum bietet mit sieben möglichen Konfigurationen mehr Freiheit. Ein intimerer Raum mit 200 Plätzen vervollständigt das Ensemble und erweitert die Möglichkeiten der Kreation und des Experimentierens.
Über diese architektonische Metamorphose hinaus setzt sich der künstlerische Ehrgeiz von Christophe Rauck fort: ein Theater, das mit den großen Erzählungen der Welt in Berührung kommt, ein Ort des Schaffens und des Teilens, der der Schöpfung gewidmet ist, sowie ein zentraler Platz für zeitgenössisches Schreiben.

After four years of extensive renovation, the Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers, Centre dramatique national, reopened its doors last December. Signed by the Norwegian agency Snøhetta, this new place inserts itself into both greenery and urban space, while reaffirming its anchorage in the city of Nanterre.
The spaces of the theater have been redesigned and the equipment renewed to meet the requirements of contemporary creation. The main hall retains its amphitheatre stage, ensuring a unique proximity to the stage. As for the transformable room, it offers greater freedom with seven possible configurations. A more intimate room of two hundred seats completes the whole, expanding the possibilities of creation and experimentation.
Beyond this architectural metamorphosis, it is the artistic ambition of Christophe Rauck that continues: that of a theater in touch with the great narratives of the world, a place of manufacturing and sharing dedicated to creation, as well as a central place reserved for contemporary writing.

Firmato dall'agenzia norvegese Snøhetta, questo nuovo luogo si inserisce sia nel verde che nello spazio urbano, riaffermando il suo ancoraggio alla città di Nanterre.
Gli spazi del teatro sono stati ripensati e le attrezzature rinnovate per rispondere alle esigenze della creazione contemporanea. La grande sala conserva il suo gradino in anfiteatro, garantendo una vicinanza unica con il palcoscenico. La sala trasformabile offre maggiore libertà con sette configurazioni. Una sala più intima da duecento posti completa il tutto, ampliando le possibilità di creazione e sperimentazione.
Al di là di questa metamorfosi architettonica, è l'ambizione artistica di Christophe Rauck che continua: quella di un teatro in sintonia con le grandi storie del mondo, un luogo di produzione e condivisione dedicato alla creazione, nonché una posizione centrale riservata alla scrittura contemporanea.

Les espaces du théâtre ont été repensés et les équipements renouvelés pour répondre aux exigences de la création contemporaine. La grande salle conserve son gradin en amphithéâtre, garantissant une proximité unique avec la scène. Quant à la salle transformable, elle offre une plus grande liberté avec sept configurations possibles. Une salle plus intime de deux cents places complète l'ensemble, élargissant les possibilités de création et d'expérimentation.
Au-delà de cette métamorphose architecturale, c'est l'ambition artistique de Christophe Rauck qui se poursuit : celle d'un théâtre en prise avec les grands récits du monde, un lieu de fabrique et de partage dédié à la création, ainsi qu'une place centrale réservée à l'écriture contemporaine.

Después de cuatro años de una renovación a gran escala, el Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers, Centre dramatique national, reabrió sus puertas en diciembre pasado. Firmado por la agencia noruega Snøhetta, este nuevo lugar se inserta tanto en el verde como en el espacio urbano, reafirmando su anclaje en la ciudad de Nanterre.
Los espacios del teatro han sido repensados y las instalaciones renovadas para responder a las exigencias de la creación contemporánea. La gran sala conserva su gradación de anfiteatro, garantizando una proximidad única con el escenario. En cuanto a la sala transformable, ofrece una mayor libertad con siete configuraciones posibles. Una sala más íntima de doscientos asientos completa el conjunto, ampliando las posibilidades de creación y experimentación.
