Visit to the garden of the Convent of St. Bonaventure at the Palatine and poetic reading

Guided tour by Adriano Scipioni that will start in front of the Church of San Bonaventura where there is a fascinating Via Crucis, whose guests will hear a bit about the history, linked to the Franciscan saint of the place, San Leonardo da Porto Maurizio.
Then we will visit the interior of the Church, guardian of valuable works. And then the sacristy, still used today by the friars (the convent is a convent of minor Franciscan friars still active).
Then enjoy the wonderful garden at the highest point of the COLLE PALATINO.
On the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis, the visit will be accompanied by a special moment of reading of the Canticle delle Creature, followed by the verses of the poet Asia Vaudo. The event is held under the patronage of the National Committee for the eighth centenary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi.
Biography of the poet:
Asia Vaudo (Cassino, 1998) is a writer and poet. He is a teacher at a high school in Rome and for over five years has been conducting a poetry and literature workshop at the prison of Rebibbia, a project that has also involved the institutes of Regina Coeli and Poggioreale. The project, in the last two years, has been promoted and supported by the National Committee for the celebration of the eighth centenary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi. He has published six books between poetry and prose.

Visita guidata a cura di Adriano Scipioni che partirà di fronte alla Chiesa di San Bonaventura dove c'è un'affascinante Via Crucis, di cui gli ospiti ascolteranno un po' la storia, legata al santo francescano del Posto, San Leonardo da Porto Maurizio.
Dopodiché si visiterà l'interno della Chiesa, custode di opere di valore. E poi la sacrestia, ancora utilizzata oggi dai frati (il convento è un convento di frati francescani minori ancora attivo).
Per poi godere del meraviglioso giardino sul punto più alto del COLLE PALATINO.
In occasione degli 800 anni dalla morte di San Francesco, la visita sarà accompagnata da un momento speciale di lettura del Cantico delle Creature, seguito dai versi della poetessa Asia Vaudo. L'evento si tiene con il patrocinio del Comitato Nazionale per l’ottavo centenario della morte di San Francesco d’Assisi.
Biografia della poetessa:
Asia Vaudo (Cassino, 1998) è scrittrice e poetessa. È docente in un liceo di Roma e da oltre cinque anni conduce un laboratorio di poesia e letteratura presso il carcere di Rebibbia, progetto che ha coinvolto anche gli istituti di Regina Coeli e Poggioreale. Il progetto, nell’ultimo biennio, è stato promosso e sostenuto dal Comitato Nazionale per la celebrazione dell’ottavo centenario della morte di San Francesco d’Assisi. Ha pubblicato sei libri tra poesia e prosa.

Visite guidée par Adriano Scipioni qui partira devant l’église de San Bonaventura où se trouve une fascinante Via Crucis, dont les hôtes écouteront un peu l’histoire, liée au saint franciscain du lieu, San Leonardo da Porto Maurizio.
Ensuite, on visitera l’intérieur de l’église, gardienne d’œuvres précieuses. Et puis la sacristie, encore utilisée aujourd’hui par les frères (le couvent est un couvent de frères franciscains mineurs encore actif).
Pour ensuite profiter du magnifique jardin sur le point culminant du COLLE PALATINO.
À l’occasion des 800 ans de la mort de saint François, la visite sera accompagnée d’un moment spécial de lecture du Cantique des Créatures, suivi par les vers de la poétesse Asia Vaudo. L’événement se tient sous le patronage du Comité national pour le huitième centenaire de la mort de saint François d’Assise.
