Ecclesia, 2000 years of history in Luxeuil-les-Bains
In Luxeuil-les-Bains, the curious need only look up to admire all the architectural know-how of past years. 17 sites classified as historic monuments, witnesses to this rich heritage, proudly stand along the heritage trail. An exceptional concentration for this small town.
Once buried under our feet, excavations have also revealed archaeological remains. They are now carefully preserved and staged in a contemporary building, an architectural feat by local architect Michel Malcotti.
And it’s all that L'Ecclesia: a building that opens onto the archaeological remains of the Place Saint-Martin and which is also the banner of the entire heritage of this spa. With more than 2,000 years of history, Luxeuil-les-Bains, with its unique architecture, is one of the most beautiful cities in the region. So have a good trip!
