Parallel dazu findet eine Ausstellung zu Ehren von Madeleine Vernu statt, einer Pionierin der Fotografie in Ars-sur-Formans. Zusammen mit ihrem Ehemann gründete sie Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts das Studio Vernu Villand, dessen Bilder heute ein wertvolles Zeugnis für das Leben und Erbe des Dorfes sind.

Stroll through the barn of the Carré d'Ars to discover a photographic exhibition retracing the evolution of the village, from yesterday to today, thanks to archives and memories shared by its inhabitants. In parallel, an exhibition pays tribute to Madeleine Vernu, pioneer of photography at Ars-sur-Formans. With her husband, she founded at the end of the 19th century the studio Vernu Villand, whose photographs are today a valuable testimony to the life and heritage of the village.
