Lecture by Stephaan Missinne, Austrian historian, and Olivier Cabayé, historian and member of the property committee of the Episcopal City of Albi, about a publication by the Albigensian Louis Belengier, who died in 1544, which would mention for the first time the name "America".
This "cosmography" would be the oldest French work in which the name of Amerigo Vespucci is associated with that of the New World.

Large living room (17th century, painted wood): ceiling with exposed beams and joists whose underside features a geometric or scrollwork painted decoration. The vertical faces of the beams and the tops of the walls corresponding to them are adorned with paintings of a heraldic character. The repeated everywhere diagram depicts a badge in a cartridge accosted by two characters who are elbowed and stretched on either side. The beams bear, on each side, three times this pattern. Faces of lions intercalate between the groups, all enriched with garlands of fruits. Salon dit de Berbie: 18th century decor of carved woodwork, which were repainted. Chapel of Our Lady (1688, painted stucco, present on the side walls of the chapel and used as a frame for several painted canvases): decoration in the Italian taste commissioned by Archbishop Hyacinthe Serroni and completed under his successor, Legoux de la Berchère.
