In 1672, the mission of Périgueux had annexed the benefits of the church of Saint-Jacques and the former priory of Saint-Martin to create, ten years later, the little Mission for the education of children destined for the ecclesiastical state. This was the origin of the Petit Seminary which functioned until 1838\. The buildings are distributed around an inner courtyard extending the Saint-Jacques church. Flat brick walls and stone chains. On the north facade of the south building remain pillars forming a gallery that extended west of the courtyard. The presbytery is located north of this courtyard. The south-east facade has three levels to compensate for the elevation of the terrain.
