To conclude its season with a spectacular finale, GECA proudly presents Zambian hip-hop icon and rapper Sampa The Great! Inspired by the beauty of her childhood in Zambia and Botswana, as well as her travels and urban experiences across Africa, Sampa The Great captivates the music world with her bold lyrics and unique rhythms. Blending innovation, folklore, and imagination, this program will culminate with one of the most dazzling pieces in the Romantic repertoire: Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony.

Inspirée par la beauté des terres de son enfance, en Zambie et au Botswana, ainsi que par ses voyages et expériences urbaines à travers l’Afrique, Sampa The Great fait vibrer le monde de la musique grâce à des textes courageux et des rythmes sans pareil. Mêlant innovation, folklore et imagination, ce programme sera complété par l’une des pièces les plus éblouissantes du répertoire romantique, la Cinquième Symphonie de Tchaïkovski.
