PATRAO
Patrao is a social worker, artist and DJ based in Geneva. Between socio-educational support and musical creation, he develops an artistic practice centered on djing and production. Naturally introverted, he found in music a unique means of expression: through frequencies and sound, he explores his emotions, communicates his ideas, and creates spaces where energy and feeling prevail over words. The intimate approach of his performances and productions makes them spaces of connection and liberation. A member of the ballroom scene and active in the French-speaking Swiss clubbing scene, Patrao has performed at festivals such as Antigel and Festival de la Cité, as well as at numerous balls. His sets weave a hybrid sonic narrative, blending hard club beats, gqom, electronic Brazilian funk, breaks and ballroom beats into an eclectic and powerful mix. In early 2025, he will release his first EP Vogue Tools, a sonic exploration rooted in ballroom and club culture. This project brings together energies, textures and rhythms to create an immersive universe, where each track becomes a tool for movement, performance and affirmation.
