The Attic Painting

First presentations of a painting found in the attic of the old museum. A fragment of the label was used to prove its belonging to the museum collections. The 1912 catalogue described it only by its dimensions and this title "Mythological Scene". The iconography was easily identified. But above all, research has made it possible to discover the author of the canvas, an Italian master of the eighteenth century!
