The visit is carried out by the Companions of the Chapelle Saint-Jean.
It is at the foot of the valley of Callenville and its stream that extends the heart of the ancient village of Trouville-sur-Mer dominated by the bell tower of its ancestral church Saint-Jean-Baptiste, landmark at the outlet of the old road leading to Touques.
From the Quernet we will walk the alleys leading from the creek to the church, reduced today to the state of chapel Saint-Jean, along the property of Madame de Boigne. We will cross the old property of the family of Estimauville to find ourselves at the first cemetery of the Trouvillais surrounding the church. We will show how the early church was supplanted by Our Lady of Victories and evoke the creation of the hospice and hospital thanks to generous donors. We will return to our starting point by following the traces of the stream of Callenville.
