Come and discover this boat whose hull is listed in the additional inventory of historical heritage. If the weather permits, the visit of Saturday morning will be replaced by an exit of the boat all sails outside, parading in front of Grandcamp, the visits will resume at 14h-14h30 on the return of the boat.

In July 1990, the association of old sailing ships Torbouai du Bessin was created. The ship was bought in the State for a nominal sum by the municipality of Grandcamp-Maisy, which retroceded 50 % to the association confiding(entrusting) to it all of management and of maintenance. This boat is of type "chalutière Small boat"; used by several ports(bearings) of the Seine Bay (Grandcamp, Trouville, Port-en-Bessin) for the peach(fishing) in the open sea, on the south coast(ribs) of England, in particular in bay(berry) of Torbay, for the period 1880-1914\. The hull(shell) of Grandcopaise is registered in conformance with(for) historic monuments since 1993.
