Animation for school children: go to the FRAC, and follow the guide for the owner’s tour!
It’s time for a visit between architectural heritage and contemporary art. Corners and nooks of the Frac open to your students and travel with a mediator who knows all the secrets. Welcome behind the scenes of places and history! It all starts with the discovery of the architectural heritage of Frac. Former convent built in the 17th century, the building becomes, with the Revolution, property of the army that raises horses there. It was renovated in 2018 by architect Rudy Ricciotti to house the Frac, its contemporary art collection and its exhibitions. From the frame to the courtyard, you discover the history of the different spaces and the anecdotes that hide behind certain details. The tour ends with the current exhibition, a great opportunity for your class to get acquainted with the evolution of the exhibition venues and contemporary art.
