From August 24 to September 18, 2020, the Cherbourgeois artist Tony Durand settles in the Quatrans for a residence dedicated to the heritage of the Reconstruction of downtown Caen. In an open approach, he questions this heritage in order to produce new representations of it, and open the imaginaries on this architecture identity of our region.
Friday 18 September at 5 pm, Tony Durand invites you to discover with him the works made during this residence, installed in the public space, and thus take another look at the rebuilt city center.
On the occasion of the 'Parking Day' event that will take place that day in the Quatrans district, the appointment is given in front of the store "La Maison du Vrac", at 14 rue Gémare (at the corner of rue Gémare and rue des Teinturiers).
The itinerary will also be open for an open visit all weekend – departure from the premises of Territoires pionniers (22 place Jean Letellier in Caen) where you will be indicated the places of the different works and installations to discover.
