At the invitation of Le Tunnel, the Regional University Choir and Orchestra of Caen Normandy (COUR) returns to Grâce de Dieu for the Fête de la Musique. It is composed of a choir, a string ensemble, and a wind orchestra, each performing in turn before concluding with a tutti performance.
A student association, COUR enables students of the University of Caen Normandy to continue their musical practice during their higher education, in choir and/or orchestra. The association promotes artistic and civic education for its 150 members each year, in a friendly and supportive environment.
Its experience, network, history, and outreach to diverse audiences make it a key player in the musical life of Caen and Normandy, while staying true to its core goal: to offer as many people as possible the joy of sharing music as amateurs in the truest sense of the word: to love!
