Im Anschluss an das Treffen "Die französischen Fotosammlungen: aufkommende Geschichten" Die Fondation Cartier möchte das fotografische Medium und den Platz, den es in ihrer Sammlung einnimmt, feiern, indem sie ein Atelier einrichten, das dem Experimentieren mit der großen Kamera Polaroid Instant Land Camera 20 24 gewidmet ist. Dieses Projekt, das in Zusammenarbeit mit der Polaroid Foundation durchgeführt wurde, würdigt ein wenig bekanntes Kapitel in der Geschichte der Fondation Cartier: 1988 in ihren ehemaligen Räumlichkeiten in Jouy.en-Josas, die Fondation Cartier hatte dieses Gerät bereits im Rahmen eines Projekts mit der spanischen Fotografin Ouka Leele installiert. Dieser neue Workshop ist Teil einer kooperativen Dynamik und steht im Dialog mit anderen französischen Institutionen, deren Sammlungen Fotografien enthalten. Die Konservatoren und Museumsdirektoren, die zur Teilnahme am Symposium über die französischen Fotosammlungen eingeladen wurden, werden einen fotografischen Künstler vorschlagen, der mit der Polaroid 2024 in der Fondation Cartier experimentieren kann. Diese kreative und partizipative Erfahrung zielt darauf ab, einen Raum für den Dialog über aktuelle und zukünftige Herausforderungen im Zusammenhang mit dem Leben der Fotosammlungen in unseren Institutionen zu schaffen. Auf diese Weise wird der Wille der Fondation Cartier bekräftigt, die Synergien und den Austausch innerhalb der französischen fotografischen Landschaft zu stärken.

French Photographic Collections: Histories in the Making
In an era marked by the rapid circulation of images and the redefinition of visual reference points through artificial intelligence, French photographic collections are invited to engage in an in-depth reflection on their history, their role, and their future.
This gathering brings together leading figures at the head of French institutions and photographic collections to examine the current and future challenges facing their collections. It will create a dialogue between different approaches to issues of conservation, development, presentation, and dissemination of these collections.
Organized in two parts, the event will first focus on the history and creation of these collections before exploring their future, thereby strengthening exchanges between French institutions dedicated to photography.

Nella continuità dell'incontro "Le collezioni fotografiche francesi: storie in divenire" La Fondazione Cartier desidera celebrare il mezzo fotografico e il posto che occupa nella sua collezione creando un laboratorio dedicato alla sperimentazione con la grande camera Polaroid Instant Land Camera 20 24. Realizzato in collaborazione con la Polaroid Foundation, questo progetto rende omaggio a un capitolo poco conosciuto della storia della Fondazione Cartier: nel 1988, nei suoi ex locali di Jouy-en-Josas, la Fondazione Cartier aveva già installato questo stesso apparecchio nell'ambito di un progetto condotto con la fotografa spagnola Ouka Leele. Questo nuovo laboratorio si inserisce in una dinamica collaborativa, in dialogo con altre istituzioni francesi le cui collezioni includono fotografie. I conservatori e direttori di musei invitati a partecipare al Colloca sulle collezioni fotografiche francesi proporranno un artista fotografo, che potrà sperimentare con la Polaroid 20 24 alla Fondazione Cartier. Questa esperienza creativa e partecipativa mira a creare uno spazio di dialogo sulle sfide attuali e future legate alla vita delle collezioni fotografiche nelle nostre istituzioni, Affermando così la volontà della Fondazione Cartier di rafforzare le sinergie e gli scambi all'interno del panorama fotografico francese.
