Eric Tabuchi, ein französischer Fotograf und Künstler japanischer Abstammung, wurde 1959 geboren. Seine fast dokumentarische Arbeit berichtet über den Wandel der periurbanen Landschaften, indem er sich mit Objekten oder Nicht-Orten zwischen Stadt und Land beschäftigt.
Eric Tabuchi stellt nach einem präzisen Protokoll ein fotografisches Repertoire architektonischer oder nicht-architektonischer Formen zusammen, das die industrielle Kultur hinterfragt. Die von der Endroit Edition herausgegebene und 2020 von der Artothek von Brest erworbene Serie "Another twentysix abanded gasoline stations" berichtet über das Interesse des Fotografen an verlassenen Tankstellen in ganz Frankreich. Sie besteht aus 27 digitalen Abzügen, denen ein Vortragstext beigefügt ist. Die Themen der Straße, des Verlassens und des Wanderns werden angesprochen und verweisen auf das Gründungskünstlerbuch von Ed Ruscha (1963).
Mehrere Animationen werden die Ausstellung aufwerten, um das Publikum dazu zu bewegen, an der Ausstellung teilzunehmen. Das Ziel ist es, jeden dazu einzuladen, das Gebiet, in dem wir uns täglich bewegen, anders zu betrachten. Den Blickwinkel ändern, die Wahrnehmung der verlassenen Räume, Gebäude, Strukturen und Architekturen um uns herum verändern, um deren Formen und Nutzung wiederzuentdecken.

Eric Tabuchi, a French artist-photographer of Dano-Japanese origin, was born in 1959. His work, almost documentary, relates the mutation of peri-urban landscapes by focusing on objects or non-places located between city and countryside.
Eric Tabuchi thus draws up, according to a precise protocol, a photographic repertoire of architectural or non-architectural forms, thus questioning industrial culture. The series "Another twentysix abanded gasoline stations" published by l'Endroit Edition and acquired by the Artothèque de Brest in 2020, recounts the photographer’s interest in abandoned gasoline stations throughout France. It consists of 27 digital prints, accompanied by a presentation text. The themes of the road, abandonment and wandering are evoked, referring to the book by the founding artist Ed Ruscha (1963).
Several activities will enhance this exhibition with a view to encouraging the public to become involved in the exhibition. The goal is to invite everyone to look differently at the territory in which we evolve every day. Changing our point of view, modifying the perception of spaces, buildings, structures, abandoned architectures that surround us to rediscover their forms and uses.

La serie "Another twentysix abanded gasoline stations", pubblicata da Endroit Edition e acquisita dall'Artoteca di Brest nel 2020, racconta l'interesse del fotografo per le stazioni di benzina abbandonate in tutta la Francia. Si compone di 27 tirature numeriche, accompagnate da un testo di presentazione. I temi della strada, dell'abbandono e del vagabondare sono evocati, rimandando al libro d'artista fondatore di Ed Ruscha (1963).
Diverse animazioni permetteranno di valorizzare questa esposizione nell'ottica di incitare il pubblico a diventare attore dell'esposizione. L'obiettivo è quello di invitare tutti a guardare in modo diverso il territorio in cui ci muoviamo ogni giorno. Cambiare punto di vista, modificare la percezione degli spazi, edifici, strutture, architetture abbandonati che ci circondano per riscoprirne le forme e l'uso.

Se compone de 27 impresiones digitales, acompañadas de un texto de presentación.
