The Convent of the Sisters of the Most Holy Saviour, is located in the picturesque village of Oberbronn, in the heart of the Regional Park of the Vosges du Nord. The Religious Congregation founded in Niederbronn in 1849 by Elisabeth Eppinger, in religion Mother Alphonse Marie experienced a very rapid extension. In 1857, for lack of space, she acquired the Castle of Oberbronn, where the Count of Strahlenheim lived until his death, to install the novitiate there and later to make this place the current Mother House of the Congregation. This place is today the heart of this great international body through its locations in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. The foundress, Mother Alphonse Marie, was beatified by Cardinal Becciu on 9 September 2018 in the Cathedral of Strasbourg. An important relic of the Blessed is visible in the oratory.
