History of Reims and the region, from Prehistory to the Renaissance, including:
* section relating to the history of the abbey including the tapestry room which houses the sumptuous tapestry of the Life of Saint-Remi;
* of regional archaeology: prehistoric, Gallic, Gallo-Roman, Merovingian and medieval periods (mosaics, Jovin’s tomb, funerary steles, reconstruction of the House of Musicians...), not to mention an important military section;
* beautiful series of Reims paintings from the seventeenth century including works by Jean Hélart, among which a masterpiece: "The Risen Christ Appearing to Saint Madeleine", dated 1679.
