Visit to the Climate Ocean exhibition
Visit of the exhibition and readings
Saturday 18 January 2020, 17:30Passed
It’s time to come and discover the Climat Océan exhibition and the museum pavilion, which is exceptionally open and free from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm (with guides for guided tours)!
An immersive and sensitive journey in the heart of the Ocean
The Ocean Climate exhibition gradually places the visitor in a situation of immersion, understanding and action until the surprise of an amazing aesthetic sensation. Seven themes have been chosen and are treated with a dual didactic and sensitive approach:
- The ocean as a whole ecosystem;
- Ocean-climate mechanics;
- Threats to the ocean
- From origins to the present day: paleoclimates
- The consequences of warming
- Resilience of life
- How do they know?
- What if we decide?
An innovative exhibition, designed in partnership with a scientific committee to alert audiences and mobilize consciences.
The first major exhibition dedicated to the Ocean and its leading role in the manufacture of climate with the aim of alerting the public and mobilizing major players on climate issues in general and the Ocean in particular.
Climate Ocean takes the public into a fascinating yet unknown world and gives the keys to understanding the mechanisms of climate regulation.
At 6 pm, 7 pm and 8 pm: 20 minute readings will also be proposed around the theme Climate-Ocean by group of 10 people, in the heart of the exhibition.
From 7pm to 7.30pm: Sébastien Laurier will read some excerpts from his book Le rêve d'un Coincoin.
