Alain Leprince - musée La Piscine
Pianist, graduate of the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris in the class of Annie D'Arco, Yves Zoberman followed the teaching of concert artist François Doublier.
After years of teaching piano, he then decided to make a break and change career and after passing the competition of Sciences Po Paris, which he graduated in 1995. He then moves away from pianistic practice. For more than 20 years, he was a cultural diplomat in French embassies around the world. Historian, he publishes in particular with the editions Perrin and Apogée.
Today, as a professor at Sciences Po Lille, he spends his time between political science, writing and playing the piano. Since his return to France, thanks to the advice of professional musicians, he has assiduously practiced the piano and set up recital programs. His vision of music, and the piano in particular, is conceived as a constituent element of life in society.

Alain Leprince - musée La Piscine
Pianiste, diplômé de l’Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris dans la classe d’Annie D’Arco, Yves Zoberman a suivi l’enseignement du concertiste François Doublier.
Après des années d’enseignement du piano, il décide alors d’effectuer une césure et un changement de carrière et après avoir passé le concours de Sciences Po Paris, dont il est diplômé en 1995. Il s’éloigne alors de la pratique pianistique. Pendant plus de 20 ans, il est diplomate culturel au sein des ambassades françaises dans le monde. Historien, il publie notamment aux éditions Perrin et Apogée.
Aujourd'hui, professeur à Sciences Po Lille, il consacre son temps entre la science politique, l’écriture et le piano. Depuis son retour en France, grâce aux conseils de musiciens professionnels, il pratique de manière assidue le piano et met en place des programmes de récital. Sa vision de la musique, et du piano en particulier, se conçoit comme élément constitutif de la vie en société.

Pianist, afgestudeerd aan de Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris in de klas van Annie D'Arco, Yves Zoberman volgde het onderwijs van concertkunstenaar François Doublie.
Na jaren piano te hebben gedoceerd, besloot hij een pauze en een carrièreverandering te maken en na het passeren van de wedstrijd van Sciences Po Paris, waarvan hij in 1995 afstudeerde. Daarna is hij van de pianistische praktijk afgestapt. Meer dan 20 jaar was hij cultureel diplomaat bij Franse ambassades over de hele wereld. Een historicus publiceerde hij met name bij de edities Perrin en Aogée.
Vandaag wijdt hij, professor aan Sciences Po Lille, zijn tijd tussen politieke wetenschap, schrijven en piano. Sinds zijn terugkeer naar Frankrijk beoefent hij, dankzij het advies van professionele muzikanten, de piano en zet hij recital programma's op. Zijn visie op muziek, en met name de piano, is opgevat als een bestanddeel van het leven in de samenleving.
