HÉRONMAN: a unique triathlon, where adventure takes precedence over time
The VA Triathlon is offering a solidarity triathlon challenge on June 21, 2026 at Héron Park!
The HÉRONMAN is not a triathlon like any other. Inspired by the original distances of the Ironman, it can be experienced alone or in a team, with the possibility to share the effort between teammates. Here, there is no stopwatch: everyone moves at their own pace, taking the time for transitions, with only one collective constraint: to be back before midnight.
See you on June 21, 2026 for an exceptional day, open to everyone: beginners as well as confirmed, young and old, licensed or not.

La Grande Aigrette
The ultimate challenge: 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling, 42.2 km running.
Heronman cendré
A duo half race to discover long distances: 1.9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling, 21.1 km of running.
Purple Heronman
A friendly format to share with friends or colleagues: 950m swimming, 45km cycling, 10.5km running.
Héronkids
From 11 years old: 475 m swimming, 22.5 km cycling, 5.3 km running.
No team
The organisation can put you in touch with other participants of equivalent level.

Path
Between the cobblestones of the north, the mountains of Flanders and the landscapes of the nature reserve of the Parc du Héron, the course is demanding and spectacular.

Le HÉRONMAN n’est pas un triathlon comme les autres. Inspiré des distances originelles de l’Ironman, il se vit en solo ou en équipe, avec la possibilité de répartir les efforts entre équipiers. Ici, pas de chrono : chacun avance à son rythme, prend le temps des transitions, avec une seule contrainte collective, être de retour avant minuit.
Rendez-vous le 21 juin 2026 pour une journée exceptionnelle, ouverte à toutes et tous : débutants comme confirmés, jeunes et moins jeunes, licenciés ou non.

Pas d’équipe
L’organisation peut vous mettre en relation avec d’autres participants de niveau équivalent.

De VA Triathlon biedt op 21 juni 2026 een solidaire triatlon uitdaging in het Parc du Heron!
De HÉRONMAN is geen triatlon zoals alle andere. Geïnspireerd door de originele afstanden van de Ironman, kan het solo of als een team worden gezien, met de mogelijkheid om de inspanningen te verdelen tussen teamgenoten. Hier, geen tijd: Iedereen vordert in zijn eigen tempo, neemt de tijd voor overgangen, met één collectieve beperking, om terug te zijn voor middernacht.
Tot ziens op 21 juni 2026 voor een uitzonderlijke dag, open voor iedereen: Beginners zoals ervaren, jong en oud, al dan niet met licentie.

Heronkids
Vanaf 11 jaar: 475 m zwemmen, 22,5 km fietsen, 5,3 km hardlopen.
Geen team
De organisatie kan u in contact brengen met andere deelnemers van een gelijkwaardig niveau.
De geest van het evenement
HÉRONMAN geeft voorkeur aan kameraadschap en overtreft zichzelf. Zonder druk of rangschikking, benadrukt het het plezier van gedeelde inspanning en gezelligheid.
Koers
Tussen de kasseistenen van het Noorden, de bergen van Vlaanderen en de landschappen van het natuurreservaat van het Parc du Heron, is de cursus veeleisend en spectaculair.
