A chocolate memory: children's discovery tour
A unique experience that takes you along the path of chocolate from the pod to the plate. Temporary exhibition. Sunday 1st september, from 10.15am to 11am, and from 11.15am to 12pm.

IN FRENCH ONLY. Come and discover, through songs, poems, games and dances, how chocolate beans are carried at arm's length through your fingers. Find out where they come from, how they are grown, harvested and dried, and how young and old alike work their fingers to the bone to delight our taste buds and set the pace for the seasons! A unique experience that takes you on a chocolate journey from the pod to the plate.
This tour was co-constructed by Myriam Boucris, musician and actress, founder of the Tohu Wa Bohu company, and Samy Manga, writer, ethno-musician, visual artist and eco-activist.
The activity is for children aged from 2 to 7 and over accompanied by an adult.
The activity will take place twice during the day, once from 10.15am to 11am and again from 11.15am to 12pm.
This event is free of charge and without registration (subject to availability). Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the activity at the MEG reception.
Mémoire chocolatée: parcours découverte enfants

Viens découvrir au travers de chants, poésies, jeux et danses, comment, portées à bout de bras, les fèves de chocolat arrivent entre tes doigts. D'où viennent-elles, comment elles se cultivent, se récoltent ou se sèchent ?
Comment petit-e-s et grand-e-s, à la sueur de leurs fronts, affolent nos papilles et rythment nos saisons! Une expérience inédite qui vous emmène suivre le chemin du chocolat de la cabosse à la plaque.
Parcours inspiré de l'ouvrage Chocolaté - Le goût amer de la culture du cacao de Samy Manga. Publié aux Editions Ecosociété de Montréal.
Ce parcours a été co-contruit et est animé par Myriam Boucris, musicienne et comédienne fondatrice de la compagnie Tohu Wa Bohu et Samy Manga, écrivain, ethnoMusicien Plasticien, Militant Ecopoète.
L'activité est adaptée aux enfants de 2 à 7 ans accompagné-e-s d’un adulte mais ouverte à tous et à toutes avec ou sans enfant.
L'activité a lieu deux fois dans la journée, une fois de 10h15 à 11h puis de 11h15 à 12h.
Cet événement est gratuit et sans inscription (dans la limite des places disponibles). Merci de vous présenter au moins 5 minutes avant le début de l'activité à l'accueil du MEG.
