To Launch Its 25th Anniversary Season, Geneva Brass Presents an Extraordinary Experience Where Music Meets Astronomy
To open its anniversary season, Geneva Brass invites audiences to a unique event at the crossroads of music and astronomy.
During the annual Perseid meteor shower, listeners are invited to enjoy an immersive open-air experience where music and the night sky come together. In a location preserved from light pollution, the rich sounds of the brass quintet accompany the observation of shooting stars, enhanced by live scientific commentary.
A suspended moment of wonder, where contemplation, knowledge and music intertwine.
Eugenio Fiore-Alba
Astrophysicist, educator and astrophotographer, Eugenio Fiore-Alba is dedicated to making astronomy accessible to everyone.
Having studied in Lausanne and Geneva, he has spent many years developing projects that combine scientific rigour with a sense of wonder through observations, lectures and workshops.
Invited to accompany this concert, he offers engaging and accessible insights into celestial phenomena, adding a scientific and contemplative dimension to the musical experience.

Please bring your own deck chair or camping chair and a flashlight. Please note that the final section of the path is steep.
Parking is available near the sports centre or the Bernex Town Hall. From there, the site can be reached on foot.
Duration: approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
In case of bad weather, the concert will take place at 8:00 pm at the Galerie Aux Portes de la Champagne, Rue de Bernex 313, 1233 Bernex. As seating is limited, advance reservation will be required. Any change of venue will be announced on this page.

Pour ouvrir cette saison anniversaire, le Geneva Brass propose une expérience hors du commun, à la croisée de la musique et de l’astronomie.
À l’occasion des Perséides, le public est invité à vivre une soirée immersive où les sons dialoguent avec le ciel.
Dans un environnement préservé de la pollution lumineuse, les œuvres déployées par les cuivres accompagnent l’observation des étoiles filantes, guidée par des interventions scientifiques en direct.
Un moment suspendu, entre contemplation, connaissance et poésie sonore.
Eugenio Fiore Alba
Astrophysicien, enseignant et astrophotographe, Eugenio Fiore-Alba consacre son travail à rendre l’astronomie accessible à tous.
Formé à Lausanne et Genève, il développe depuis de nombreuses années des projets mêlant rigueur scientifique et émerveillement, à travers observations, conférences et ateliers.
Invité à accompagner le concert, il propose un éclairage sensible et accessible des phénomènes célestes, enrichissant l’expérience musicale d’une dimension scientifique et contemplative.
