Diggin' is an indie-soul band formed in Lausanne in 2020. Led by Dany Cerane (guitar) and Julien Portenguen (vocals), it works as an evolving collective of four to six musicians, notably featuring Gabriel Scheder (drums) and Simon Palluel (bass).
Influenced by Nick Hakim, Skinshape and Yellow Days, the band has developed a sonic signature that subtly blends retro influences with lo-fi modernity.
Following a series of EPs in 2023 and 2024, 2025 marked a turning point with the release of their debut album "New, Again", praised by the press. Diggin' then gained fresh exposure: named an RTS Radar artist in 2025, programmed two years running at Cully Jazz and Montreux Jazz, over 100,000 streams on the track City Knight.
The band has now released its second album "Viewpoints" and is embarking on a 2026 tour to present its new songs in a brand-new live show.

Diggin' est un groupe d'indie-soul né à Lausanne en 2020. Porté par Dany Cerane (guitare) et Julien Portenguen (chant), il se compose comme un collectif évolutif de quatre à six musiciens, réunissant notamment Gabriel Scheder (batterie) et Simon Palluel (basse).
Influencé par Nick Hakim, Skinshape et Yellow Days, le groupe développe une signature sonore qui mêle subtilement influences rétro et modernité lo-fi.
Après une série d'EPs en 2023 et 2024, l'année 2025 marque un tournant avec la sortie du premier album « New, Again », salué par les médias. Diggin' profite alors d'une nouvelle exposition : nommé artiste Radar RTS 2025, programmé deux années consécutives au Cully Jazz et au Montreux Jazz, plus de 100'000 streams sur le titre City Knight.
Aujourd'hui, le groupe vient de sortir son deuxième album « Viewpoints » et se lance dans une tournée 2026 pour présenter ses nouvelles chansons dans un live inédit.
