In 2017, Elina Duni and Rob Luft crossed paths at the Montreux Jazz Festival, marking the beginning of a unique project.
Since then, they have toured the world and released two critically acclaimed albums on ECM Records as a quartet.
Their new album, a stripped-down duo project, revisits the very essence of their first encounter.
For this occasion, they are joined by Matthieu Michel’s magnificent flugelhorn.
Together, they weave a tapestry of songs that evoke the mystery and joy of the night, the moon, and the magic that lives within each of us.
Contemplative, almost meditative music. Music that soothes, envelops, and touches without ever imposing itself. Like a caress. Like a lullaby.

En 2017, les chemins d’Elina Duni et de Rob Luft se sont croisés au Montreux Jazz Festival, marquant le début d’un projet unique.
Depuis, ils ont fait le tour du monde et sorti deux albums acclamés par la critique chez ECM Records, dans une formation en quartet.
Leur nouvel album, un projet en duo très épuré, revisite l’essence même de leur première rencontre.
À cette occasion, se joint à eux le magnifique bugle de Matthieu Michel.
Ensemble, ils tissent une tapisserie de chansons qui évoquent le mystère et la joie de la nuit, de la lune et de la magie qui vit en chacun de nous.
Une musique contemplative, presque méditative. Une musique qui apaise, qui enveloppe, qui touche sans jamais s’imposer. Comme une caresse. Comme une berceuse.
