DR Alliance Créative
As part of the exhibition “The Futur, what's that?”, the MEG is partnering with the theater company “Alliance Créative” to offer an introduction to theatrical improvisation for children ages 6 and up accompanied by their parents, or ages 12 and up on their own. Theatrical improvisation is an ideal playground for exploring uncertainty, embracing the unexpected, and inventing stories in real time. Just like the exhibition, which invites visitors to imagine possible futures and question this unknown future, these introductory sessions offer participants the opportunity to create, test, and bring to life their own visions of the future. Through games and group activities, participants discover the basics of improvisation (listening, storytelling, acting, and collaboration) while developing their imagination and confidence on stage, in a supportive and playful environment. The themes explored will directly echo the exhibition, fueling the improvisations and stimulating reflection on possible futures. The series concludes with a final performance on Saturday, December 5. An invitation to experiment, imagine, and take risks: what if the future were also built on stage?
