Diese Vorstellung ist in erster Linie eine Geschichte. Alles beginnt im Jahr 2001: Alain Bashung bittet seinen Freund Rodolphe Burger, sich eine Intervention für seine Hochzeitszeremonie auszudenken. Rodolphe Burger wählte das Lied der Lieder - einen ikonischen Text des Alten Testaments, eine mystische und fleischliche Ode an die Liebe. Anschließend realisiert er eine faszinierende Vertonung, um die Lesung zu tragen, die die Eheleute vorführen werden. Der private Umstand führt zu einer Schallplatte, die später veröffentlicht wird. Jean-Luc Godard entdeckt ihn und schickt ihn zu seinem Freund Elias Sanbar, dem Übersetzer des großen Dichters Mahmoud Darwich. Sanbar hört die Aufnahme und denkt sofort an ein Gedicht von Darwich, S'envolent les colombes, offensichtliche Resonanz, quasi natürliche Fortsetzung des heiligen Textes. Elias Sanbar nimmt daraufhin Kontakt mit Rodolphe Burger auf...
Dieses literarische Konzert ist also zugleich die Spiegelung zweier Texte von unglaublicher Nähe, aber auch eine doppelte Hommage: an Darwich und - offenkundig - an Bashung. Auf das Lied, das Französisch und Hebräisch verbindet, antwortet dann: Die Tauben fliegen, sublime hypnotische Deklamation.

This show is first and foremost a story. Tout commence en 2001: Alain Bashung asks his friend Rodolphe Burger to imagine an intervention for his wedding ceremony. Rodolphe Burger chooses the Song of Songs – an emblematic text from the Old Testament, a mystical and carnal ode to love. He then makes a fascinating musical setting to carry the reading that the spouses will make. The private circumstance gives rise to a record that is subsequently published. Jean-Luc Godard discovers it and sends it to his friend Elias Sanbar, translator of the great poet Mahmoud Darwish. Sanbar listens to the recording and immediately thinks of a poem by Darwish, S'envolent les colombes, an obvious resonance, almost a natural extension of the sacred text. Elias Sanbar then contacted Rodolphe Burger...
This literary concert is thus both the mirror image of two incredibly close texts but also a double homage: to Darwish and, implicitly obvious, to Bashung. Au Cantique qui mêle le français et le hébreu répond ensuite S'envolent les colombes sublime déclamation hypnotique.

Questo spettacolo è innanzitutto una storia. Tutto inizia nel 2001: Alain Bashung chiede al suo amico Rodolphe Burger di immaginare un intervento per la sua cerimonia di matrimonio. Rodolphe Burger sceglie il Cantico dei Cantici - testo emblematico dell'Antico Testamento, ode mistica e carnale all'amore. Realizza poi un'affascinante messa in musica per portare la lettura che gli sposi faranno. La circostanza privata dà luogo a un disco che viene poi pubblicato. Jean-Luc Godard lo scopre e lo invia al suo amico Elias Sanbar, traduttore dell'immenso poeta Mahmoud Darwich. Sanbar ascolta la registrazione e pensa subito a una poesia di Darwich, S'envolent les colombes, risonanza evidente, prolungamento quasi naturale del testo sacro. Elias Sanbar prende quindi contatto con Rodolphe Burger...
Questo concerto letterario è quindi allo stesso tempo lo specchio di due testi di una vicinanza incredibile, ma anche un doppio omaggio: a Darwich e, implicitamente evidente, a Bashung. Al Cantico che mescola il francese e l'ebraico risponde poi Si volano le colombe sublime declamazione ipnotica.

Ce spectacle est d’abord une histoire. Tout commence en 2001 : Alain Bashung demande à son ami Rodolphe Burger d’imaginer une intervention pour sa cérémonie de mariage. Rodolphe Burger fait le choix du Cantique des Cantiques – texte emblématique de l’Ancien testament, ode mystique et charnelle à l’amour. Il réalise ensuite une fascinante mise en musique pour porter la lecture que les époux effectueront. La circonstance privée donne lieu à un disque qui est publié par la suite. Jean-Luc Godard le découvre et l’envoie à son ami Elias Sanbar, traducteur de l’immense poète Mahmoud Darwich. Sanbar écoute l’enregistrement et pense immédiatement à un poème de Darwich, S’envolent les colombes, résonance évidente, prolongement quasi naturel du texte sacré. Elias Sanbar prend alors contact avec Rodolphe Burger…
Ce concert littéraire est donc à la fois la mise en miroir de deux textes d’une incroyable proximité mais aussi un double hommage : à Darwich et, en sous-entendu évident, à Bashung. Au Cantique qui mêle le français et l’hébreu répond ensuite S’envolent les colombes sublime déclamation hypnotique.

Este espectáculo es ante todo una historia. Todo comienza en 2001: Alain Bashung pide a su amigo Rodolphe Burger que imagine una intervención para su ceremonia de boda. Rodolphe Burger optó por el Cantico de los Cánticos, texto emblemático del Antiguo Testamento, oda mística y carnal al amor. Luego realiza una fascinante puesta en música para llevar la lectura que los esposos realizarán. La circunstancia privada da lugar a un disco que se publica posteriormente. Jean-Luc Godard lo descubre y lo envía a su amigo Elias Sanbar, traductor del inmenso poeta Mahmoud Darwich. Sanbar escucha la grabación y piensa inmediatamente en un poema de Darwich, S'envolven les colombes, resonancia evidente, prolongación casi natural del texto sagrado. Elias Sanbar se pone en contacto con Rodolphe Burger...
Este concierto literario es a la vez el reflejo de dos textos de una increíble cercanía, pero también un doble homenaje: a Darwich y, por supuesto, a Bashung. Al cántico que mezcla el francés y el hebreo, responde luego Se vuelan las palomas sublime declamación hipnótica.
