reiche ägyptische Familie, deren Leben nicht gut läuft

Salma lebt in einer ägyptischen Familie
wohlhabend, geschützt vor dem Tumult der Welt.
Sein Bruder Karim steht kurz davor, eine Frau zu heiraten.

rich Egyptian family whose life goes little

ricca, protetta dal tumulto del mondo.

americana, un matrimonio altrettanto sentimentale
quale strategico che deve siglare un accordo
commerciale tra le imprese familiari.
Ma dopo il 7 ottobre 2023, tutto
crolla. Il matrimonio è sospeso. Et au
all'interno della stessa cellula familiare che abbiamo
credeva preservato, le tensioni si installano e
i legami si indeboliscono.

Salma vit au sein d’une famille égyptienne
fortunée, protégée du tumulte du monde.
Son frère Karim s’apprête à épouser une
américaine, un mariage autant sentimental
que stratégique qui doit sceller un accord
commercial entre les entreprises familiales.
Mais après le 7 octobre 2023, tout
s’effondre. Le mariage est suspendu. Et au
sein même de cette cellule familiale que l’on
croyait préservée, les tensions s’installent et
les liens se fragilisent.
Sans jamais montrer la guerre, Ahmed El
Attar s’attache à ses répercussions jusque
dans les espaces les plus intimes. Il nous
place au plus près de ce qui se joue, là où se
révèlent les rapports de pouvoir, les non-dits
et les responsabilités morales qui traversent
notre monde contemporain. Qui paie le prix
